I'm TieSha — founder of Jacx Carter Designs, a Black, woman-owned handmade jewelry brand based in the Baltimore/Washington area. I started this in 2021 because I couldn't find what I was looking for either.

By day I'm a software engineer. But creativity is how I actually speak — and I believe that what you put on your body says something about who you are before you ever open your mouth. Every piece I make is handcrafted and limited edition, designed for the woman who knows her style and just needs the piece that proves it.

This guide is everything I wish someone had handed me earlier: the real process, not the generic advice.
